Avoiding Legal Risks*

Discover how to protect your business from potential lawsuits by ensuring your website is compliant with current accessibility standards. Did you know that there are law firms out there that exist solely to find non-accessible websites and sue those businesses? YIKES! How do I know this? I was recruited by one!

Increasing Accessibility

Publish a website that's accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities, to expand your reach and customer/client base. Why? 1) Because it's the right thing to do, and 2) Because you likely want to reach customers with disposable income, right? The amount of disposable income in this demographic is shocking! Simple changes can even boost your websites SEO rankings!!

Boosting Credibility

Enhance your brand's reputation by demonstrating your commitment to inclusivity and accessibility standards. You know that positive customer reviews are GOLD - if you have a good reputation in your business area, people will talk. They'll also talk if you don't...

Why You Should You Purchase This Course Now!

Meet Your Instructor

Hi there! I'm Angie, and I've been helping companies create more accessible physical places and digital spaces for over twenty years. As an ADA consultant and attorney, I understand the challenges of maintaining compliance with accessibility regulations. I'm excited to share my expertise and help you protect your business from potential legal risks, create a more accessible online and physical presence, and maintain that accessibility! I have two goals: 1) to ensure people with disabilities have access to more physical places and digital spaces, and 2) to empower small businesses and content creators by providing them with the information they need to assess and implement accessibility features and feel confident in their compliance. Your accessibility coach, Angie

I'm glad I found this course, because I didn't even realize my business website wasn't accessible to everyone. I reached out to my website person and asked them to make the changes. Thank you, Angie!

My business is selling my art. I want everyone who finds my website to be able to use it and enjoy my art. Angie's course sampled what I need to know to make that happen. I don't have time to mess with my website, so I made sure the company that hosts it made the changes.

The price of the course and the time invested in completing were both well worth it. I don't want to exclude potential customers from my website, and I definitely don't want to expose myself to a lawsuit. Sometimes what you don't know can come back to bite you...I feel better now knowing I've educated myself.

I maintain my own website. I implemented some of the changes Angie suggested and it was as easy as clicking a few buttons and typing some descriptive text. Glad I found this course.

FAQs

Question: Does taking one of your online courses (and implementing the suggestions) guarantee my website or business will be 100% accessible? Answer: No. When it comes to accessibility compliance, there is no such thing as "100% accessible" or a "perfect" score. Be wary of any company making such promises. However, if you commit to: 1) learning our content, 2) assessing your physical places and digital spaces by following the downloadable Quick Guides and Checklists, and 3) implementing the suggestions, you will improve your website's accessibility and improve its usability for people with disabilities and likely everyone else who visits. Question: Do you provide refunds for online courses? Answer: No. Due to the instant nature of digital downloads, once a purchase has been completed, it is final. Question: When will your other courses be available to purchase? Answer: We hope to have all courses currently in "Preorder" status ready for "Order Now" status sometime in September 2025.  Have more questions? Email: [email protected]
