Meet Your Instructor

Hi there! I'm Angie Barker, and I've been helping companies create more accessible physical places and digital spaces for over twenty years. As an ADA consultant and attorney, I understand the challenges of maintaining compliance with accessibility regulations. I'm excited to share my expertise and help you protect your law firm from potential legal risks that you may not have even known you had, by creating a more accessible office space for your clients and employees. I have two goals: 1) to ensure people with disabilities have access to more physical places and digital spaces, and 2) to empower law firms by providing them with the information they need to be compliant with physical accessibility regulations. Your accessibility coach, Angie

Attorney Testimonials

This course is helping create more accessible places and spaces within the legal community.

The ADA compliance litigation wave is here, and this course prepared me well. Understanding the technical standards behind accessibility claims has made me a much stronger advocate for my clients. The course materials serve as an excellent reference when drafting demand letters or reviewing compliance audits.
Jennifer M.

Business Litigation Attorney

As litigation in this space explodes, I wanted to understand ADA compliance from both sides - defending and pursuing cases. This course gave me the technical foundation I was missing. The section on parking was particularly valuable to me, as I have a small, stand-alone firm, and provide parking for my clients (and potential clients). Additionally, I can now speak confidently with clients about accessibility and identify legitimate compliance issues versus frivolous claims.
Michael D.

Solo Practitioner

This course filled a crucial gap in my practice knowledge. I was handling ADA employment cases but didn't fully grasp the physical accessibility requirements my clients were facing. The technical explanations were thorough yet accessible, and the implementation suggestions really helped.
Rebecca L.

Employment Attorney

Excellent course for in-house counsel managing compliance risk. The practical assessment processes were exactly what I needed to help my clients see their potential areas of risk. This knowledge has already helped them avoid potential claims and budget appropriately for compliance.
Sarah K.

Corporate Counsel

Even as someone who's practiced disability law for years, this course enhanced my understanding of the technical aspects of physical accessibility. I feel more effective at identifying physical violations and working with clients on meaningful accommodations and modifications.
David R.

Disability Rights Attorney

FAQS

Question: Does taking one of your online courses (and implementing the suggestions) guarantee my website or business will be 100% accessible? Answer: No. When it comes to accessibility compliance, there is no such thing as "100% accessible" or a "perfect" score. Be wary of any company making such promises. However, if you commit to: 1) learning our content, 2) assessing your physical places and digital spaces by following the downloadable Quick Guides and Checklists, and 3) implementing the suggestions, you will improve your website's accessibility and improve its usability for people with disabilities and likely everyone else who visits. Question: Do you provide refunds for online courses? Answer: No. Due to the instant nature of digital downloads, once a purchase has been completed, it is final. Question: When will your other courses be available to purchase? Answer: We hope to have all courses currently in "Preorder" status ready for "Order Now" status sometime in September 2025. Question: Which state bars accept your attorney CLE courses? Answer: We are working with each state/territory bar association to certify that our CLE courses meet their mandatory continuing legal education requirements. We will update the course header (with state abbreviations) as we receive the certifications. Email [email protected] with state specific requests, and we'll pop your state to the top of our priority list! Have more questions? Email: [email protected]
