Meet Your Instructor

Hi there! I'm Angie Barker, and I've been helping companies create more accessible physical places and digital spaces for over twenty years. As an ADA consultant and attorney, I understand the challenges of maintaining compliance with accessibility regulations. I'm excited to share my expertise and help you protect your law firm from legal risks that you may not have even known you had, create a more accessible online presence for your clients, and ensure your documents are accessible to them, as well. I have two goals: 1) to ensure people with disabilities have access to more physical places and digital spaces, and 2) to empower law firms by providing them with the information they need to be compliant with digital and physical accessibility regulations. Your accessibility coach, Angie

Student Testimonials

This course is making a difference in creating more accessible digital spaces.

Finally, a course that translates WCAG technical jargon into legal terms I can use with clients. Understanding A vs AA vs AAA compliance levels and the four principles of accessibility has changed how I draft technology contracts. I can now include specific WCAG requirements in agreements and actually know what I'm talking about when reviewing accessibility audits.

New Associate Attorney

This quick course was a game-changer for my practice. WCAG violations are becoming the backbone of digital accessibility lawsuits, and I needed to understand the basics of the technical standards behind the claims.
Robert C.

General Practice

Even with 4 years of ADA experience, WCAG was always the technical piece I struggled a bit with. This quick course bridged that gap perfectly. Understanding how screen readers interact with websites and what constitutes a barrier has made me far more effective in advising clients. The technical knowledge adds credibility to my arguments.
Carlos M.

Civil Right Attorney

As in-house counsel for a small company, I needed a quick guide to understanding WCAG regulations to properly advise our marketing and social media teams. Invaluable for risk management.

FAQS

Question: Does taking one of your online courses (and implementing the suggestions) guarantee my website or business will be 100% accessible? Answer: No. When it comes to accessibility compliance, there is no such thing as "100% accessible" or a "perfect" score. Be wary of any company making such promises. However, if you commit to: 1) learning our content, 2) assessing your physical places and digital spaces by following the downloadable Quick Guides and Checklists, and 3) implementing the suggestions, you will improve your website's accessibility and improve its usability for people with disabilities and likely everyone else who visits. Question: Do you provide refunds for online courses? Answer: No. Due to the instant nature of digital downloads, once a purchase has been completed, it is final. Question: When will your other courses be available to purchase? Answer: We hope to have all courses currently in "Preorder" status ready for "Order Now" status sometime in September 2025. Question: Which state bars accept your attorney CLE courses? Answer: We are working with each state/territory bar association to certify that our CLE courses meet their mandatory continuing legal education requirements. We will update the course header (with state abbreviations) as we receive the certifications. Email [email protected] with state specific requests, and we'll pop your state to the top of our priority list! Have more questions? Email: [email protected]
